Hand-made Batiks also known as Adire Alabela in Southwestern Nigeria are fast becoming African fashion statements and they become even more luxurious when done on brocades for the following reasons;
1. Brocades are made using finely woven, extremely fine cotton fabric.
2. Brocades have embossed features which allow additional detailing apart from the decorative features the batik process provides.
3. Brocades are in limited quantity reducing the possibility of mass production of the design.
We have taken the time to make this design by hand. They will not run and will last a life time.
Thank you as you support local textile artisans in Nigeria with your purchase.
